Meet Your Woodlanders

Siri Anna Everett

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Trees. What’s there not to love?

Melody Griffin

Melody Griffin

VICE PRESIDENT

Among the Woodlanders, Melody is known for 'rooting' us in the history of our neighborhood, especially her memories as a child reading under the shade of the median's trees. She grew up in the neighborhood, as did both her mother and grandmother!

Kathy Anderson

SECRETARY

Since the inception of the North End Woodlands project, my interest in protecting and restoring historic landscapes continues to grow.  I serve on the Board of Directors of another volunteer non-profit organization, the Old North End Neighborhood, where I head up the Parkway Tree program.   It is my fervent desire to leave a legacy of trees for our future generations to enjoy.

Mike Anderson

TREASURER

We all care deeply about the Old North End Neighborhood and helping enhance and conserve what makes it so unique and special.  The urban forest is a key part of what makes our neighborhood such a walkable and livable place.   In addition to my commitment to NEW, I serve on the board of the Old North End Neighborhood (ONEN) and am a founding member and officer of the Historic Neighborhoods Partnership.

Those non-profit organizations are dedicated to preserving and strengthening historic neighborhoods.
